Interview with Emmet Gowin
In the fall of 2000, I curated my first exhibition of photographs. The show was called Precedence: Emmet Gowin and His Students.
Organizing this exhibition was quite a learning experience for me, in a number of ways. I’ve decided to post a couple of things from this exhibition here. First, you’ll find a transcription of an interview I did with Emmet Gowin in May 2000:
