Day 1

Let’s see, I began a serious pursuit of photography somewhere around 1994. Today, however, marks a new engagement. Today I give my work a new form.

Today I’ll keep it simple, and look at a couple of fundamentals. This picture was made at Camp Tintype in Dundee, NY, a collaboration with John Coffer. It’s a picture of John’s 20×24 wetplate camera. To me, it’s a picture of my love of process and the history of photography.
